Front-wheel drive lever
The front-wheel drive (FWD) is controlled by a handle.
The handle is located on the left-hand side of operator’s
platform.
NOTE:
Use front-wheel drive when additional traction is
required while operating on loose soil, in wet, slippery con-
ditions, or on slopes. For normal operation on firm soil,
level hard surfaces, or when operating the unit at high
speeds, disengage the front-wheel drive to maximize tire
and driveline life and to economize on fuel.
Gear model
To engage the front-wheel drive on gear model tractors,
stop the tractor completely, depress the clutch pedal and
push the handle

completely downwards. To disengage
the front-wheel drive, stop the tractor completely and pull
the handle upwards.
