Storage
Storing the unit
Preparation for storage
Prepare the backhoe for storage, by doing the follow-
ing:
• Apply a thin layer of grease on visible piston rods in
order to protect them.
Use after storage
Prepare for use after storage, by doing the following:
• Remove excess lubricant from the piston rods if the
backhoe has been stored for long time.
• Check the condition of the hydraulic hoses and re-
place them as needed. Always release the hydraulic
pressure before disconnecting the hoses. Refer to
6-10 .
• Grease all lubrication points.

• Clean and inspect all warning decals. Replace dam-
aged warning decals.
• Tighten loose bolts, nuts and adjusting screws. Re-
fer to 6-9 .
• Work with light loads using gentle movement before
using the full capacity of the backhoe.
• Operate all backhoe functions several times to re-
move air from the system.
