12. Slowly raise the stabilizers and the boom until the
backhoe is sitting on the ground. See figure

13. Continue raising the stabilizers until they are in the
upright position. See figure
14. Engage the stabilizer locks.
15. Engage the park brake.
16. Shut off the engine.

Do not connect or disconnect hydraulic quick coupler under pressurized conditions. Make sure all
hydraulic pressure is removed from the system before connecting or disconnecting hydraulic quick
coupler.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

18. Install the dust cap on the female quick coupler

20. Install the dust caps on the female quick coupler

on the backhoe and the male quick coupler

21. Disconnect the hose with the male quick coupler

on the tractor from the hose with the straight female
quick coupler
(5)
on the backhoe.
22. Install the dust cap on the female quick coupler
(5)
from the backhoe.
23. Connect the male quick coupler
(6)
to the female
quick coupler
(4)
