Warranty
New Focus, Newport Company, guarantees its lasers to be free of defects for one
year from the date of shipment or for 3000 hours of operation, whichever comes
first. This is in lieu of all other guarantees, expressed or implied, and does not
cover incidental or consequential loss.
7.2
Technical Support
Information and advice about the operation of any New Focus product is available
from our technical support engineers. For quickest response, ask for “Technical
Support” when calling the numbers listed below and know the model and serial
number for your product.

Obtaining Service
The GuideStar II Controller contains no user serviceable parts. To obtain
information regarding factory service, contact New Focus or your New Focus
representative. Please have the following information available:
1. Instrument model number (on the rear panel).
2. Instrument serial number (on rear panel or bottom of enclosure).
