User Programmable Button: Point Mode
The User Programmable Button menu has an additional option on cameras
supporting the stabilization feature. All of the other options are identical to the
menu description starting on page 36.
Point Mode
. A short press of the USER button enables or disables point
mode.
System Setup Menu
This menu has two differences on the model that includes stabilization:
•
The Enable Ball-Down Installation option is removed. The camera must be
installed in the upright position.
•
The Enable (Disable) Stabilization option is added.
All of the other options are identical to the menu description starting on page 37.
Enable (Disable) Stabilization
The System Setup menu on the model with stabilization includes the Enable
(Disable) Stabilization option.Select this option to enable or disable the two-axis
mechanical gyro-stabilization, which prevents camera images from being
affected by mechanical vibrations caused by waves and ship motion. This setting
is enabled by default and should not be changed under normal operation. The
