Virtualization
Virtualization techniques can be used to run multiple isolated guests on top of the host system. The
netmodule routers use OS-level virtualization: A system is virtualized at the operating system level,
enabling multiple isolated user-space instances called containers. The same operating system kernel
is used to implement the guest environments, applications running in a guest environment view it as a
stand-alone system.
