5. If you previously disabled the DHCP server feature, select the Use Router as DHCP

Server check box.

6. Specify the range of IP addresses that the router assigns:

a. In the Starting IP Address field, enter the lowest number in the range.

This IP address must be in the same subnet as the router. The default starting IP
address is 192.168.30.2.

b. In the Ending IP Address field, enter the number at the end of the range of IP

addresses.
This IP address must be in the same subnet as the router. The default ending IP
address is 192.168.30.254.

7. In the lease time hour(s) field, set the duration of the IP address lease in hours.

By default, the lease expires after one day (24 hours), after which the WiFi client must
renew the lease.

8. Click the Apply button.

Your settings are saved.

The router delivers the following parameters to any LAN device that requests DHCP:

An IP address from the range that you defined

Subnet mask

Gateway IP address (the router’s LAN IP address)

DNS server IP address (the router’s LAN IP address)

Set up a DHCP server for the guest LAN 4

The DHCP IP addresses for the guest LAN 4 must be part of the same IP address subnet
as the router’s default LAN IP address. Using the default addressing scheme, define a
range between 192.168.40.2 and 192.168.40.254, although you can save part of the
range for devices with fixed addresses.

To set up the DHCP server for the guest LAN 4:

1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your

Orbi network.

2. Enter orbilogin.com.

A login window displays.

If your browser does not display a login window but displays a security warning and
does not let you proceed, see What to do if you get a browser security warning on
page 28.
