FIRMWARE

Checking what firmware is in G1 Gateway

To check what firmware is in your G1 Gateway, Tap on the menu icon up the top right of the main screen. Choose
Information. This will then show what ‘Firmware Version’ you are running. If you are using a D8/D16 Security
system or a Z‐Wave Smart iLock (106‐282) then you need to be running firmware version v040202 or above.

Firmware Update

In the future there may be firmware updates to add new features or to improve current features. When the
update is available it will pop up on the screen when you open the app. This will allow you to automatically load
the firmware without having to enter in any settings. Firmware updates are optional and not always required.
