- STANDBY: time-out before the Printhead returns to the capping
station (protection area that prevents the ink from drying in the
Printhead) after the motor has stopped (recommended standby
timeout: 150 sec.)
- SLEEP: time-out before the machine goes into sleep mode
after the Printhead returns to the capping station in standby
(recommended sleep time-out: 120 sec.).
"Warning STOP"
For mechanical connection, there is a message displayed before
the motors stop.
"Franking machine will stop soon": this message will be signaled
by a red flashing light and is displayed few seconds before to stop
the motor. These few seconds ("
Warning STOP ") are adjustable
from 0 to 240s by the supervisor in the TIMEOUT menu (new
page named TIMEOUT : Warning) - by default 120s.
If time out "Warning STOP" is higher than time out
START and STOP, the light is red flashing from the start
action.
For electronic connection, it is the inserter which
authorizes the franking machine to stop its motor, at the
same process used for the function STOP from postage
meter.
To modify the "SLEEP" time, enter the desired time (in
seconds) using

and
+
keys, or touch
0240
to
access to the numeric screen and enter the desired time-
out time. Confirm with
ESCAPE
.
With inserter mode ON, the timeouts are maintained but
are not taken into account when the motor is running.
