2.5.3 Locking nut and diaphragm coupling

Manually screw the FK lock nut onto the end of the ball screw, which is located at the fixed end.

Tighten the grub screw on the FK lock nut to secure the FK lock nut.

Place the diaphragm coupling on the fixed end of the ball screw. Tighten the grub screw on the
diaphragm coupling to secure it to the ball screw.

Screws are very sensitive to tightening torque. Avoid tightening them too tightly, otherwise you
could destroy the screw head.
