In the window that opens, check the following settings:
In MIC Volume Control, make sure a check mark
appears next to “MIC +20dB.”
Under 3D Enhanced, make sure “NotePC 2” is ac-
tive. (A black dot appears in the circle.) This option
should be active at all times for the best results.
You can change Quality setting from Normal. If you do
so, the resulting sound will use more processing power.
Treble and Bass tone controls are also available in this
window.

Press OK to accept your settings.
NOTE
Your NEC Versa system ships with
recommended settings for advanced sound quality.
Modifying these settings or setting the configuration
to Default, overrides the recommended settings.
To restore the recommended settings, access the
Control Panel, select OPL3-SAx Config and click
NotePC2.
Line-In
Analog signals come in through the NEC Versa 2700’s
Line-In port. The analog signals are converted into digital
bits and bytes (digitized) through a converter known as an
ADC (analog-to-digital converter). The resulting digital
sound bytes can be stored, edited, processed, and trans-
ferred. You can record ambient sound effects, specific
sound effects, or music to enhance a presentation.
