10–24 Troubleshooting
The printer has sensed that the paper size you are
using does not match the paper selected on the
printer setup screen. Either change to the
expected paper size or select a different size of
paper on the printer setup screen. (See Chapter
3, GDI Mode, or PCL Print Mode. Some
applications also allow you to select paper size
directly.)
If you are using the correct paper size, check if
the printer has mistakenly picked up more than
one piece of paper. Multiple sheets can appear to
the printer as one extra long sheet of paper,
causing it to give a paper size error. Be sure to
use paper that meets the printer’s requirements,
as outlined in Appendix C.
