Store the processor cartridge in an antistatic bag.

Install the replacement Pentium II processor cartridge (see “Installing the
Pentium II Processor Cartridge,” next).
Installing the Pentium II Processor Cartridge
Install the Pentium II cartridge in the universal retention mechanism and system
board as follows.

CAUTION
Before handling components, reduce static discharge by
touching the chassis.

Remove the processor cartridge currently in the system (see “Removing the
Pentium II Processor Cartridge” earlier in this section).
