Settings
Mobile Networks
Thi s prod u ct i s config u red to a u tomatically detect and
s witch the network mode, operator, etc., by defa u lt, b u t

From the "Settings" screen, tap "Wireless &
networks"

Setting an operator
After s tep 1, tap "Network operator s "

us e. The operator name s that are di s played vary
depending on the s etting of the "Network Mode".

Enabling data roaming
Check the box of "Data roaming"

Switching access points

Set each item to create. After s etting each item, tap

Bluetooth
Connect with a Bl u etooth compatible device via
Bl u etooth comm u nication. Yo u can connect a wirele ss
head s et, wirele ss a u dio device, etc.
There i s no g u arantee that thi s prod u ct i s capable of
wirele ss comm u nication with all type s of Bl u etooth
device s .
For information abo u t the s etting s and operation
proced u re s , s ee al s o the in s tr u ction man u al of the
Bl u etooth compatible device.
Precautions when using Bluetooth devices
Note the following in order to en su re a good connection.
• Connect with another Bl u etooth device within abo u t a
10 m viewable di s tance. Depending on su rro u nding s
(wall s , f u rnit u re, etc.) and b u ilding s tr u ct u re, the
connectable di s tance may be s horter. The connectable
di s tance will al s o be s horter if an ob s tacle i s between
thi s prod u ct and And the other Bl u etooth device. Yo u
may be u nable to e s tabli s h connection if thi s prod u ct
and the device are located on oppo s ite s ide s of wall s
containing metal rod s , su ch a s on u pper and lower
s tair s or in adjoining room s , e s pecially in a b u ilding
made of reinforced concrete.

s o note that the above connection di s tance s are not
g u aranteed.
• Connect thi s prod u ct di s tanced from other device s
(electric prod u ct, AV eq u ipment, OA eq u ipment, etc.)
a s m u ch a s po ss ible. (Since the prod u ct can ea s ily be
affected by a microwave oven in us e, di s tance the
prod u ct a s far away a s po ss ible.)
If the prod u ct i s bro u ght clo s er when another device i s
on, it may be u nable to connect normally, or may be a
ca us e of televi s ion and radio noi s e or interference
(televi s ion pict u re may be u nclear for partic u lar UHF or
s atellite channel s ).
• If yo u cannot connect normally d u e to a nearby
broadca s ting s tation, wirele ss tran s mitter, etc., change
the location of the partner Bl u etooth device. Yo u may
not be able to connect normally if su rro u nding radio
wave s are too s trong.
• Yo u can e s tabli s h a wirele ss connection while a
Bl u etooth device i s in a bag or pocket. However, if yo u r
body i s located between the Bl u etooth device and the
prod u ct, decrea s ed comm u nication s peed or noi s e
may occ u r.
Bl u etooth device s and wirele ss LAN (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n)
us e the s ame freq u ency band (2.4 GHz). If yo u us e the
prod u ct or Bl u etooth device near a device eq u ipped with
a wirele ss LAN, radio wave interference may occ u r and
can re su lt in decrea s ed comm u nication s peed, noi s e,
poor connection, etc. If thi s happen s , do the following.
• Keep the prod u ct and a Bl u etooth device in wirele ss
connection at lea s t 10 m from a wirele ss LAN.
• T u rn off a wirele ss LAN when us ed within 10 m.
