Updating through microSD Card
Choo s e "Update s by SD card" when yo u want to us e a
microSD card for s oftware u pdate.
• To carry o u t a s oftware u pdate, connect the prod u ct to
a PC (P.54), and download the u pdate s oftware from
the man u fact u rer' s s ite to a microSD card by the PC.
For more information, refer to the man u fact u rer' s s ite.
• After the s oftware u pdate i s completed, man u ally
delete the u pdate s oftware downloaded to yo u r
microSD card (the s oftware can be s afely removed
once the s oftware u pdate ha s completed normally).
• "Update s by SD card" cannot be done in the following
circ u m s tance s .
- When the battery level i s too low for s oftware u pdate
Confirming update
Check whether the s oftware u pdate i s available for the
prod u ct.
• "Confirmation of u pdate" cannot be done in the
following circ u m s tance s .
- When o u t s ide s ervice area
- Airplane mode
- When the date / time are not correctly

Yo u can reg u larly check the u pdate information
a u tomatically, and check whether yo u can u pgrade the
ver s ion. For the late s t s oftware information, refer to the
man u fact u rer' s s ite.

Notes
• "Auto update" is not set by default.
• The product cannot automatically check the update
information when the "Auto update" is not set, during data
communication for an immediate software update, etc.

Starting the software update immediately
Tap "Now" and follow the in s tr u ction s on the s creen.
• Software u pdate cannot be done in the following

- When o u t s ide s ervice area
- D u ring international roaming
- Airplane mode
- When the USB cable i s connected and mo u nted
- When the "USB tethering" i s being us ed
- When the "Portable Wi-Fi hot s pot" i s being us ed
- When the date / time are not correctly s et
- When the battery level i s too low for s oftware u pdate
- When there i s in su fficient free s pace in the microSD
card for s oftware u pdate
Notes
• After restarting by your operation, the product automatically
restarts again.
• If you tap "Later", you can update later. From the Idle screen,
