Connect the external batteries to the KSU in the 
location shown in 

Figure 5-31 Connecting the 

External Battery to the Basic KSU

. Connect the 

external battery cable to the EXT connector on the 
PSU of the Basic KSU. Bundle any extra cabling 
together.

Route the cables through the clamps on the KSU as 
shown in
