Chapter 5: Crisis Recovery 5-41
Note*1
If you press the
ESC
key too early (or too late) you will not go on
to Boot Menu. In this case, turn off the workstation and start over again.
4.
You are now at the boot menu, which is still a blind operation for 2x20
displays. Press the Up Arrow key 4 times (just to make sure you are
starting from the top). Next, you will be telling the terminal to boot from
PXE, which is normally the second, or sometimes the first menu option.
Assuming it is the second option, press the Down Arrow key twice and the
press the Enter key. If you have correctly selected PXE PROM Boot, then
in fifteen to twenty seconds later, “Network Parameters” will be displayed
on the 2x20 display. (Note*2)
If “Network Parameters” is not displayed on your 2x20 display power
off/on and retry above instructions.
Note*2
If the workstation does not display the “Network Parameters”
menu after the boot setting, start all over again and press the
Down Arrow
key
only ONCE (instead of TWICE) and then press the
Enter
key and continue as
before.
