NOTE:

Xmodem is a communication’s protocol that allows a file-transfer between a
computer and a host, utilizing a network.  It uses blocks of 128bytes for the file,
and a single byte checksum (per block) for error correction.  If an error is
encountered, the block is then re-sent.  This protocol is supported under the
Hyper-term application using Windows XP. 

NOTE:

The Dashboard application supplied with the 

D-40

 Printer supports both uploading

and downloading of files over an Ethernet TCP/IP network.  This is the preferred
method of file transfer(using Xmodem transfer protocol) if a network connection
is unavailable.
