Replacing the Walking Deck
!
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, always unplug the power cord and wait 5 minutes before cleaning, maintaining or repairing this machine.
Tools Required: #2 Phillips Screwdriver, 5 mm hex wrench
There are two options when replacing the Walking Deck:
- If only the decks are being replaced, the Treadle Assembly does not need to be removed from the fitness machine – Follow this set of instructions.
- If belts are being replaced, it is easy to replace the decks while the belts are off of the machine – see the Walking Belt Replacement instructions for
more details on the disassembly procedures.
Note:
This procedure is shown with the Treadle Assembly removed, but it can be done with the Treadles in place.
1. Loosen the Belt Tensioning Screws on both Treadles using 5 mm hex wrench
(total of 4 screws).
2. With the Walking Belt loose, shift the belt to the center and remove the 3 deck
screws and 1 belt guide screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
3. Shift the belt to the outside and remove the 4 deck screws using a #2 Phillips
screwdriver.
4. Lift the belt slightly and slide the deck out to either the inside or outside.
5. Slide the new deck in, ensuring the laminated side is up.
6. Reassembly is the reverse procedure.
