FACTORY REPAIR SERVICE

Nautel provides a factory module repair
service for users of Nautel's transmitters. Users who
do not have repair facilities or who are not able to
repair an assembly may utilize this service for a
nominal fee. Refer to warranty (page 2) for address
of Nautel repair facility and information to be
supplied with returned parts.
MECHANICAL DESCRIPTION

The ND500II radiobeacon transmitter is
intended to be installed in a standard ‘G’ size opening
(12.25 inches) of a 19-inch mounting rack. It can be
supplied with non-swivel type drawer slides
(including portion attached to mounting rack). The
weight is approximately 55 pounds (25 kilograms).
Refer to figure MD-17 for dimensional information.
All external connections are made at the rear of the
transmitter cabinet.

CABINET (see figures MD-1 through
MD-17):
The transmitter cabinet is a fabricated
metal chassis with an attached full-depth front panel.
The inner portion of the cabinet contains NAS26
Power Supply A1, NAPE33/01 RF Driver PWB A2,
NAPE72 Keyer PWB A3, NAPE32 Modulator
Driver PWB A4, NAPC22 Monitor PWB A5, RF
Synthesizer PWB A9 and optional 24-48 VDC
Power Supply PWB A10. All adjustment controls
for these assemblies, except A1 and A10, are
accessible from the top of the transmitter with the top
cover removed. NAA18 Modulator/Power Amplifier
Assembly A6, NAF107 Harmonic Filter Assembly
A7 and Remote Interface PWB A11 are mounted on
the outer rear section of the transmitter cabinet.
