IMPORTANT: 

Do not use the release handle to lower the fixture. Doing so will prevent the fixture from locking. Instead, press 

on the body of the fixture away from the release handle (

FIGURE 5.20

IMPORTANT: 

IIf any resistance is felt while lowering the fixture, stop and adjust the position of the Cartridge slightly. Make sure 

that the electrodes are correctly aligned. If the electrodes are not aligned, re-align the electrodes using the ‘Align Electrodes’ 
workflow under the Maintenance Menu. The Prep Station will not be able to process any of the samples if electrodes are bent.
