7-4 Inspecting and Replacing the Pedal Sensor Sticker
1)
Remove the top and left side covers
2)
Remove the two Pozi head screws (M5x10) and remove the sensor PCB.
3)
Look through the square cut out and make sure that the sensor sticker is
not dirty or damaged.
4)
If the sensor sticker is dirty wipe it with a clean soft, dry cloth. If it is
damaged it will need to be replaced.
5)
6)
Remove one nylon nut (3/8”) and remove the tension pulley.
Note:
There is a thick flat washer and an adjustment flat washer on the
tension pulley shaft. Take care not to lose them.
7)
Peel off the old sensor sticker and replace with
a new one. When replacing the sticker ensure
that the sensor sticker is central on the tension
pulley. If the sticker is off centre by even 1mm
the pedal rotation sensor may not read the
sticker properly.
8)
Re-assemble in reverse order.
Note: When re-assembling, fit the flange nuts
and nylon nuts finger tight until the drive belt
tension has been adjusted.
