INITIATING A HARDWARE RESET ON THE MODBUS GATEWAY
To initiate a Hardware Reset on the Modbus gateway
, press and hold the Mode switch for 0 to 2 seconds, and
then release it. The LED indicators respond as follows:
1.
The Ready LED blinks three times per second while the button is being pressed.
2.
The Modbus gateway is in Reset Mode when:
Port 1 LED on the ESERV-M12T is On and the Port 2 LED is Off.
3.
The LEDs go back to their normal states when the device resumes normal operation.
RELOADING FACTORY DEFAULTS
To reload Factory Defaults,
press and hold the Mode switch for more than 10 seconds. The LED indicators respond
as follows:
1.
The Ready LED blinks three times per second while the button is being pressed.
2.
The Modbus gateway is in Factory Default Mode when:
Port 1 LED on the ESERV-M12T and the Port 2 LED are both On.
The Modbus gateway reloads all factory default configuration parameters.
3.
The LEDs go back to their normal states when the device resumes normal operation.
