6.c.6.4.1.4 Automatic Voltage Regulation ( AVR ) Transfer Point Configuration

AVR is an automatic autotransformer function that steps up ( Boost mode operation ) UPS

output VAC when the VAC input is low and steps down ( Buck mode operation ) UPS output

VAC when the VAC input is high. During AVR, the MP2000E front panel PTS output is

constantly energized so that VAC output comes from the UPS rather than bypassing VAC

power through the power transfer switch ( PTS ). Figures 6-60 and 6-61 show the AVR Off

Settings and AVR On Settings screens.
