Concerning handling (continued)
During ink charging, make sure:
• Not to turn OFF the printer.
• Not to unplug the power cable of the printer.
• Not to open the front cover.
• Not to open the maintenance cover.
• Not to raise the media loading lever.
Keep the work area well-ventilated.
Not doing so may cause nausea or a fire hazzard.
Do not use volatile solvents such as thinner, benzene,
or alcohol.
These solvents may cause damage to the paint.
When moving this printer, always empty the waste ink
tank even moving short distance.
If ink splashes inside the waste ink tank while being
moved, it can cause damage.
Do not touch Blower Heater while Heater is working.
Blower Heater become very hot and you could burn
yourself.
Pay attention to the following points when you cut
roll media. Mishandling the razor blade may cause a
cut on your finger or hand.
• When you hold media, do not place your finger on the
media cut groove.
• Move the razor blade along the media cut groove.
Concerning consumable items
• You are obligated to properly dispose of waste fluid from the printer in compliance with Wastes Disposal and Public
Cleansing Act and local ordinances. Delegate disposal to an industrial waste disposal contractor.
• Waste fluid from this printer is harmful to aquatic organisms. Avoid the waste fluid from out flowing to sewage or
natural water systems.
• Keep out of direct sunlight and store the waste fluid container in a cool, dark place.
• Do not mix waste fluid with any other chemicals, even in a small amount.
Do not disassemble Ink bag.
If disassembled, there is a possibility that ink might come
into contact with your eyes or skin.
Before operation, make sure to read the Material
Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Regarding the ink bag, be sure to:
• Before installing a new ink bag, invert the ink bag
back and forth to agitate ink.
• Agitate ink in the bag when prompted on the
operation panel.
DO NOT drop or hit an ink bag.
Ink may leak from the bag.
