TWAIN Settings and Preview Controls
the tWAIN interface comes with the same settings and controls on
iDocScan touch that can be used to configure the scan profiles. For the
settings details, see

Scan Profile
Includes 4 default scan profiles with
preconfigured settings such as “color
Document”, “Grayscale Document”, “black
and White Document”, and “quality color
Document”. you can create new profiles by
selecting “custom”.

Scan Profile
function menu
click to open the function menu including
“Save as”, “Delete”, and “Rename”. these 3
functions are available according to the scan
profile selected.

Default
Reset the custom to default settings.

Scan Source
Specify the side of the originals to be scanned
including “ADF (Front Side)”, “ADF (back
Side)” and “ADF (Duplex)”.

two-Sided merge
Scan both sides at once and combine them
into one image when the “ADF(Duplex)” is
selected. you scan original larger than A4
size (maximum A3 size) using the optional
Protective Sheet (see
).

Protective Sheet
Select either “With Protective Sheet” when
using the optional Protective Sheet for the
“two-Sided merge” scanning, or “Without
Protective Sheet” when not using it.

Scan mode
Specify a mode to scan your originals
including “color”, “Gray”, “b/W”, “multi-color
Output”, Auto color Detection.

color selector
enables when the “multi-color Output” or
“Auto color Detection” is selected.

thick media mode enable this function when scanning thick or
rigid items, such as credit cards.
