Address Codeword
25. The Address Codeword identifies Beep Code, message wait, and address value. Its
structure is shown in Figure 8.
26. Bit 1 (Message flag) is always set to `0'. Bit 7 is reserved for future development of the
code; it is currently set to `1' and is ignored by Mk7 decoders.
27. If the paging receiver detects a Wait flag (Bit 6) set to `1', it will seize the next
composite message within the current system transmission. When the Wait flag is set
to `0', there is no message.
28. When a message or speech follows the address sequence, all addresswords in the call
have the Wait flag set. Addresswords with the Wait flag cleared constitute separate
discrete calls; they cannot be intermingled within the structure of other calls.
29. Beep Code patterns used in the RPR 550IS Series pagers are made up as shown in
Table 1.
