Configure the equipment as per Figure 17 but connect a TEM Cell (P800) in place of the
P637. Follow the steps as detailed in the TEM Cell Instructions for the IEC method
(up/down with transitions). Place the pager in the polystyrene block (see Figure 18),
positioned centrally in the TEM Cell with the clip facing the input end of the cell. A level
of -90dBm (RPR 551IS), -92dBm (RPR 552IS) or -93dBm (RPR 553IS) should be
achieved.

If no TEM Cell is available, the pager should be compared to a reference pager of
known sensitivity.

Each pager in the RPR 550IS Series contains an EEPROM which holds unique data,
including the address. The data may be entered or changed by using the P648
Programming Unit and the P648H Programming Software. Operation of the P648 is
detailed in Annexe A.
