Configuring Outbound Fax, Archive and Purge Options

Use this page to set outbound fax and storage options.

Allowing Simultaneous Faxing

To allow faxing to the same number simultaneously:

Click

Fax Configuration > Outbound.

Check

Allow simultaneous faxing to the same number

Click

Save.

Changing Primary Routing

To change the primary routing on a hybrid FaxFinder device:

Click

Fax Configuration > Outbound.

Select your preference from the drop-down menu:

SIP&T.38/etherFAX

Modems

Click

Disable other routing

to disable other routing options.

Note:

Disable other routing

is not checked, the FaxFinder will switch to the alternate routing option

after it reaches the maximum number of failed attempts on the primary routing option. Maximum fax
attempts is set on a per fax basis.

Setting Fax Storage Options

To store a copy of outbound faxes:

Go to

Fax Configuration > Outbound

Select which faxes you want to keep. Options are:

Keep All

Keep Failed, Rejected, and Aborted

Keep None

Click

Save.

Archiving Outbound Faxes

To enable outbound fax archiving:

Click

Fax Configuration > Outbound

Check

Enable Outbound Archive

Select

PDF

TIFF

as the format for the fax archive file. Default is PDF. TIFF is an image file; if you select

this, you will not be able to search for a particular word in a fax.
