4. CAN Trigger
(Optional)
CAN (Controller Area Network) is a serial communication protocol of the ISO
international standardization.
By using the CAN bus trigger, you can trigger on

.
You need to specify the signal source, trigger signal type, sample point, and signal
rate of the CAN signal.
In CAN bus trigger mode, the trigger setting information is displayed on bottom
right of the screen, for example,

indicates that trigger
type is CAN, CH1 trigger level is -126 mV.

Turn the

the Sample point, which is a point within a bit’s time. The
oscilloscope samples the bit level at this point. “Sample
point” is represented by the percentage of “the time from
the start of the bit’s time to the sample point time” in the
“bit’s time”. The range is 5% to 95%.
