Fuel
As Vengeance may be equipped with various engines, each model has a unique fuel system. Become familiarized
with your specific fuel setup and the components associated with it.
Fuel Type
Always refer to engine owner’s manual for specific fuel requirements.
Signs of Faulty Components
Before attempting any diagnostics, ensure the vehicle is not out of fuel, and there truly is a faulty component.
• Engine cranks over but will not start.
• No fuel is reaching the filter or engine itself
• Fuel filter is empty, most likely a bad fuel pump.
• Fuel level on the instrument panel is inaccurate with the level in the tank, most likely a bad sending unit (See
Electrical
).
Locations
Depending on Vengeance model, the fuel pump and filter will be at either location 1 or 2.
