7.8.2 Fuel system – Venting

Preconditions

☑

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING

Fuels are combustible.

Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.

Venting fuel system

Unlock fuel priming pump, unscrew handle.

Open vent plugs on filter head.

Operate the pump with the handle until
bubble-free fuel emerges at the vent plugs.

Close vent plugs on filter head.
