Coat thread and sealing cone of HP line (5) with engine oil.
18.
Thread in HP line (5), ensuring that the sealing areas are not damage.
19.
Tighten nuts (4, 6) by hand as far as possible.
20.
Use a torque wrench to tighten nuts (4, 6) to specified tightening torque in the following order. Tightening
sequence:
1 Nut on adapter (4)
2 Nut on rail (6)

Fit cable connector on injector.
Reset CDC parameters after installing new injectors
Note:
Failure to reset drift compensation (CDC) will void the emissions certification of the engine.

Reset drift compensation (CDC) with DiaSys® (→ Dialog system DiaSys® E531920/.) If DiaSys® is not avail-
able, contact Service.
Final steps
1.
Install cylinder head cover (→ Page 193).
2.
Open fuel supply to engine.
