Checking emission label
Note:
If there are any irregularities, notify your MTU Service contact person without delay.
1.
Check that emission labels are present (several are possible).
2.
Does the label on the engine match the label document in the Business Portal/Equipment?
3.
Check emission label for intactness.
4.
Check content of emission label for complete readability
5.
Does the engine number on the emission label match the engine identification plate?
6.
Does the Manufacturing Date match the year of manufacture on the identification plate?
