Set the desired alarm threshold.

If necessary, press F2 to take a zero point.

If necessary, press F3 to switch on an acoustic alarm.
If activated, an acoustic alarm signal sounds as soon as the measured
HC environment [ppm] exceeds the value of the set alarm threshold.

Guide the tip of the probe slowly along the areas to be tested.
In the case of a leakage, the value of the HC environment [ppm]
changes.
If activated, an acoustic alarm signal sound.

If necessary, press F1.
The currently measured value is taken over in the line max=0
►
If necessary, press the Printer key to create a printout of the measure-
ment.

NOTE
Maintenance
When using the unit just for leak detection the HC detector
can be checked using test gas.
We recommend however to calibrate the HC detector once
a year to have lasting accurate results.
