Option: Leak detection (external HC probe)
The external HC probe is used for leak detection on gas pipelines in non EX
environment.
The external HC probe is used to locate CH4 (methane).
The measuring range of the HC probe is 5-20,000 ppm
►
Connect the external HC probe to the analyzer via the AUX connector. En-
sure that the red markings on the plug and the
AUX-connector match.
►
Go to the Measurement menu.
►
Select External detector (AUX).
►
Press OK.
The menu External detector (AUX) appears.
A Warm-phase starts.
After the warm-up phase has been completed, you can start the leak
detection.
