Using au Disaster Countermeasure Application

The au Disaster Countermeasure application is an application that you 
can use to receive Disaster Message Board and Early warning mail 
(eEarthquake Early Warnings, Disaster/Evacuation information).

A Disaster Message Board is a service that you can register for to receive 
safety information from IS NET for the area you are in when a large 
disaster happens such as an earthquake of over 6.0. It is also possible to 
check this information on another phone or from your PC.

Early warning mail

Early warning mails are a service that sends messages to au phones in 
affected area with Disaster/Evacuation information. 
When you purchase your phone, it will already be set to receive these 
Earthquake Early Warnings (Earthquake Early Warnings and Disaster/
Evacuation information). 
When you receive Earthquake Early Warnings, ensure your own safety 
depending on the circumstances and act in a calm and appropriate 
manner.
