Track (furthest from the MAG-STOP) position the
Magnet 1.25m from the end of the track.
Check that all Pedals and E-Stop are correctly
connected to the AGITO Hub.
Turn on the AGITO, make sure that the E-Stop is
disabled, ie. AGITO Trax is active.
From the Main Trax Home Screen, select “MENU”
and “DRIVE ENDS”. Scroll down to
“Calibrate”.
Highlight “Calibrate End” and once Selected,
the AGITO will begin the Calibration process.
The AGITO will begin the Calibration process, the
system will slowly travel the length of the Track.
Initally moving Forward / Left until the MAG-STOP
reads the Magnet.
Keep the E-STOP close to the operator and activate
if the AGITO does not recognise the magnet. If this
happens check your MAG-STOP and magnet
positions and correct as needed.
Once the Front / Left Magnet has been recognised,
the AGITO will change direction and travel to Rear
/ Right Magnet.
After both magnets have been correctly recognised
by the AGITO, the system will be ready to use
The MAIN TRAX Screen will now be shown and the
system will be ready for the Safe Stopping Distance
to be configured.
Use the Table below, to work out the revised
Magnet Positioning.
Move the Magnets to the recommended positions,
as shown in the Table below.
Now set the Max Speed and test the AGITO stops
as expected using the Magnets as Hard Breaking
points.
NOTE:
When traveling at slower speeds the
stopping distance will reduce. This means that some
of the Track will not be accessible. This will be
revised in a future firmware version.
