Safety instructions
WARNING: To avoid the risk of fire, electrical
shock, or injury to person:
1. Before use, check that the power supply cor
-
responds to that which is stated on the device’s
nameplate. Avoid any unintentional startup.
2. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains
cord or other components are damaged.
3. If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by a service centre authorised or simi
-
larly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never
try to repair the appliance yourself.
4. Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when
your hands are wet.
5. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug
from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.
6. Make sure that the mains cable
i s n o t
squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put
under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal
stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise
the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
7. This device is not intended for use by persons
(adults and children) with physical, sensory or
mental impairments or lacking experience and/
or knowledge of use unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or have
received instructions from that person on how to
use the applicator. Children should be supervised
to make sure they do not play with the device.
8. Do not run cord under carpeting and do not
cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.
Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it
will not be tripped over.
9. While using, distance of no less than 20cm
should be kept away from wall or corner to en
-
sure the air intakes or exhaust openings should
not be blocked unexpectedly. The unit must not
be located immediately below or besides a cur
-
tain or the likes.
10. Risk of injury! Do not insert any objects or
fingers through the protective grid while the
product is in operation.
11. Do not block air intakes or exhaust open
-
ings in any manner.
12. Adequate clean water should be put into the
tank within the water level limits as shown by the
water level indicator. Make sure that you DO NOT
add water whilst the power is on.
13. If you want to move the product whilst water
is in the tank, unplug it and push it slowly and
very lightly on the side of the unit to avoid water
spillage.
14. Please keep the ice crystals box provided
away from children, as it is a chemical based sub
-
stance that is harmful if swallowed. Also make
sure that the ice pack is not placed in direct sun
-
shine. The ice crystal can be used over 5 years.
When scrapping the appliance, follow the regula
-
tions concerning the disposal of ice crystals.
15. Use the appliance on flat, dry floor only.
16. WARNING! Do not immerse the unit in water
Do not allow the interior (special for the PCB) to
get wet as this could create a hazard.
17. Make sure the water level in the water tank
is always between the markings MIN and MAX.
Check the water level during operation.
18. Move the device slowly and carefully when
the water tank is full. Water may spill from the
water tank if the air cooler is moved suddenly.
19. Never move the device by tugging the cable
and make sure the cable does not become entan
-
gled.
20. If the device tips over with a full water tank,
cease use of it immediately. Have it checked by
a professional for any damages before turning it
back on.
21. Never remove the honeycomb filter or the
water tank while the product is in operation.

Attaching the wheels
Place the air cooler on a slightly elevated surface (e.g. a table) so the bottom end protrudes slightly to
fasten the wheels. If necessary, place a sheet or blanket beneath the product to protect the surface. In

sert the wheels into the openings on the bottom of the air cooler as illustrated below and screw them.
