Electrical System

6.6 12 volt Accessory Switch Panels

The main accessory switch panels are located

at the helm. The circuit breakers or fuses that

protect the accessories and activate the engine

starting circuits are located in the battery switch

breaker panel or the power management module

in the compartment behind the helm. Two types

of switches are used at the helm. Conventional

switches with circuit protection in the battery

switch panel and a digital switching system with

circuit protection in the power management/fuse

panel.

Conventional Switches

Conventional switches raise or lower the windlass

or tower when the tower option is installed. An-

other conventional switch in the battery switch

panel activates water pump. They are equipped

with rocker switches that are labeled for the ac-

cessories they control. An LED light built into most

switches indicates that the circuit is activated.

Conventional switches connect the full current

load to each accessory. Each circuit is protected by

individual “push to reset” circuit breakers located

in the battery switch panel.
