Save new item
Enable
s the addition of a new product program (item) to the controller’s existing directory.
Press the key to the side of the screen leading from the
‘SAVE NEW ITEM’
option to
reveal the on screen instruction
‘Please enter new name -->
’. To enter the product
program (item) name press the 1/A key on the main keypad to toggle between
numerical and alphabetical character entry then press the appropriate key, also from the
main keypad, to name the program (item).
For alphabetical character entry two options are presented on each available button. To
select the first of the two just press its key (once toggled into character entry) and to
select the second character option press the +/- key, from the main keypad, after
selecting the character key required.
i.e. to select Z : press 1/A to toggle onto character entry

Press +/- key
Use of the
‘enter’
key after each entry is not required. Only when the complete item
name has been entered should the
‘enter’
key be pressed to accept the complete item
name displayed on the screen.
