Service and Maintainance
The Mobilarm V100 is a robust product that is designed to
operate in harsh marine conditions. However, careful handling
of the device will help to ensure it operates as designed in an
emergency.
Avoid dropping the unit.
Ŷ
Avoid leaving the unit unnecessarily in full sun where it may
Ŷ
be exposed to excessively high temperatures.
Inspect your Mobilarm V100 periodically for signs of wear
Ŷ
and tear, visible cracks or other damage.
Warning
!
Cracks in seals or housings could allow moisture inside the
Ŷ
unit, rendering it unreliable or unusable.
If cracking is observed, or if it is possible that the unit has
Ŷ
been damaged, please contact your authorised Mobilarm
service agent for it to be assessed and replaced if required.
Mobilarm V100 Battery
The Mobilarm V100 has a shelf life of 10 years and an
operational life of 5 years, at which point the battery should be
replaced or a new unit purchased.
A full test checks the battery and indicates how much battery
life is remaining. If the battery test fails or the battery life is
below the minimum accepted for safe use, immediately take
the device out of service and contact your authorised Mobilarm
service agent for a replacement.
