Making Welded Connections
To weld a transducer in line to a system, you should follow certified welding practices, such as
those published by the American Welding Society (AWS) or the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers (ASME).

To make mechanical connections in line to a system, use the recommended installation practices,
as specified by the fitting manufacturer or by an appropriate standard.

How To Tighten Fitting Attachments
For VCR Fittings: Tighten ¹/

turn past the finger tight position for 316 SS or nickel gaskets.
For NPT Threads: Follow the procedure described in ANSI B1.20.1.
