Adjusting image without using remote control
COLOR ADJ slide switch is available to adjust images without using the accessory remote control. See page 5.

Press OPEN button to pull the printing unit.

Set the slide switch upward.
The same display as the adjusting display is indicated. See page 38.

Adjust the colour of images.
Use the buttons in front panel to adjust.
MEMORY button :
Selects items.
MONITOR button : Set the setting level smaller. (-)
PRINT button : Set the setting level larger.(+)

Set the slide switch down, and set the printing unit back to the original position.
NOTE
• When closing the printing unit, menu is closed and printing becomes available. However, make sure to set the slide
switch down to close menu after adjusting.

MECHA ERROR NOTHING
RESPONSE Selects whether this unit sends RS-232C response to the
host computer or not.
RET (Return) Sends response.
NO Not send response.
BUSY LEVEL Selects how to output the BUSY signal of the remote
terminals 1 and 2 on the rear panel.
H (High) The VCP cannot accept the remote input signal when the signal
is “HIGH”.
L (Low) The VCP cannot accept the remote input signal when the signal
is “LOW”.
• The default setting is “H”.
BUSY MODE Selects when the BUSY signal of the remote terminals 1 and
2 output on the rear panel.
PRN Outputs when printing is not available.
MEM Outputs when memory is not available.
TIM Outputs when memory timing is set in next item.
BUSY TIMING Displays only when BUSY MODE is set to TIM. Use to set
BUSY ouput timing.
1V After outputting BUSY signal, memory is taken in by waiting
to 1 vertical period.
2V After outputting BUSY signal, memory is taken in by waiting
to 2 vertical periods. See pages 29 and 31.
V SYNC MEM Displays only when BUSY MODE is set to PRN or MEM. The
timing from inputting the memory signal by the rear remote
terminal till taking in image synchronizes with V SYNC.
OFF The timing does not sychronize with V SYNC.
ON The timing sychronize S with V SYNC.
PREVIOUS ERROR Error display
This function displays the most recent type of error.
