LOW ENERGY TARIFF
This function can be activated from the digital input (command normally given by the electricity meter) and forces the loading of the DHW storage
tank during time bands when the electricity tariff is reduced. When the contact is active, the DHW setpoint is forced to the
“comfort setpoint (parameter
0023
) even if the setpoint set by the us
er would impose “economy setpoint” based operation (parameter
0022
).
For the default values of the various parameters, see the parameters table
5.4
ANTI-LEGIONELLOSIS
The purpose of this function is to treat the water contained in the DHW storage tank, heating it to a certain temperature and for a period that can be
set from the parameter, in order to eliminate any Legionellosis bacteria. The function (enabled using parameter
0222
) requires the definition of a
setpoint (parameter
0211
) which must be reached within a certain time, starting from a settable time (parameter
0221
) and which must be maintained
until disinfection has been completed.
It is possible to select two types of anti-legionellosis programmes (parameter
0212
):
•
Fixed days: the anti-legionellosis function can be performed on selected days (parameters
0213
to
0220
; Monday to Sunday);
•
Periodic: the anti-legionellosis function can be performed at intervals from 1 to 30 days (parameter
0217
). The first day to be counted for
the anti-legionellosis period will be Sunday.
The following chart indicates the time required to complete disinfection according to the temperature. If the water temperature does not exceed 60°C,
counting does not begin. When, instead, the water temperature falls below 55°C, the anti-legionellosis time is reset to ensure the bacteria do not
return.
After completing the anti-legionellosis cycle following a request, Service instruction, or weekly program, or for any other reasons for which the storage
tank temperature allows its completion, the function will be disabled for 24 hours.
Two settable thresholds are used:
•
Cycle threshold for alarm with “Anti
-
legionellosis not completed” message. If after n. cycles (parameter
0224
) the anti-legionellosis cycle
has not yet been completed, an alarm will be generated, which will be automatically reset upon completion of the disinfection cycle.
•
Time threshold for the completion of the anti-legionellosis cycle: if for some reason the unit is unable to complete the anti-legionellosis
cycle within this time (parameter
0225
in minutes), the function will be disabled until the next request.
Based on the resources available, it is possible to select (parameter
0223
) one of the following options for the completion of the anti-legionellosis
cycle:
•
Heat pump only
•
Heaters only
•
Heat pump + Heaters
