INTRODUCTION
This document discusses the functions of the “Nadisystem” controller used with i
-BX and i-BX-N air/water units. The functions discussed only relate
to machine management issues (including the management of domestic hot water (DHW)).
Interfacing with i-BX and i-BX-N units will be guaranteed by the pLDPRO machine terminal, through which user, installer, service and manufacturer
will be able to access machine management and setup parameters (therefore, there will be 4 different password-protected access levels).
i-BX and i-BX-
N units will be able to regulate the production of system water in a “traditional” manner, which
means on the basis of a fixed setpoint
that can be set by the user, or in an “advanced” manner, based on a setpoint calculated through the offset functions, both co
ld and hot (for the details
see the specific function descriptions). The machine external air temperature probe will be used for offset management.
The type of regulation will be possible by setting specific parameters.
INFORMATION:
i-BX indicates the chiller only unit
i-BX-N indicates the reversible heat pump unit.
i-BX(-N) indicates both units, when discussing the machine functions.

OPERATING REQUIREMENTS
The application software discussed in this document is designed for use on i-BX-N reversible heat pump units and i-BX chiller units.
The software was designed for use on the following control systems:
uPC
–
Medium control board with pLDPRO graphic interface user terminal.
1.2
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Below is a non-exhaustive list of the functions of the application:
•
Regulation of the room temperature according to the setpoints entered using the user terminal.
•
Complete visualisation of the operating status of the unit.
•
Possibility of setting the regulation parameters, both the basic ones with the “User” password and the more advanced ones w
ith the
“Installation”, “Service” and “Factory” passwords.
•
Possibility of configuring the unit.
•
Management and acoustic and visual signalling (visual only by default) of faults (alarms), events and maintenance, with memorisation up to
100 events.
