After the weld parameters have been correctly
set, the weld figure will appear on the screen.
Apply the setting parameters and return to the
main screen when the setting completed.
Find out the peak echo from the flaw and position
the gate over the peak echo.
Then press
to trigger the weld figure
function. It will prompt out to input the distance
from the weld center to the probe front.
Measure and input that value. Finally press the
key below OK.
Weld figure is displaying and a ‘+’ icon indicates
the position of the flaw.
Press any key to exit from the weld figure display.
Note:
The weld figure feature apply only to angle beam transducers
Probe parameters should be calibrated correctly before using this feature.
