2 Function
2.1 Water Drain Monitoring
With the drain pump activated, the water level is monitored to check if it has
dropped to 2” wc after 150 seconds; if the level has not dropped accordingly,
the program is stopped, and the fault message
Water drain fault is
displayed.
4 Service
4.1 Drain Pump Removal
1. Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
2. Remove the front panel; refer to Section 010-4.3.
3. Remove the right side panel, if possible; refer to Section 010-4.2, Side
Panel Removal.
4. Place a rag or cloth underneath the filter housing/drain pump to catch any
water that may leak when hoses are disconnected.
5. Remove the plastic housing from the drain pump.
6. Disconnect the drain pump electrical connection.
7. Release the locking tab and rotate the pump counterclockwise (when
viewed from the front of the appliance) to remove it from the filter housing.
4.2 Filter Housing Removal
1. Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
2. Remove the front panel; refer to Section 010-4.3.
3. Place a rag or cloth underneath the filter housing/drain pump to catch any
water that may leak when hoses are disconnected.
4. Unclamp the three hoses from the filter housing.
5. Remove the T20 screw and washer securing the filter housing to the
appliance chassis.
6. Press in on the rubber damping plate to release the filter housing from the
appliance chassis. Pull the filter housing up and out of the chassis.
7. There is an additional rubber damping plate (square) on the base of the
filter housing that will come out with the housing. Take both damping
plates off of the filter housing; they will be needed for the replacement
housing.
8. Holding the drain pump with one hand and the filter housing with the other
hand, release the locking tab and rotate the filter housing clockwise
(when viewed from the front of the appliance) to separate it from the drain
pump.
