Problem Possible cause Remedy
The “End”, “Start” and
“Top Solo” indicators
flash simultaneously.
A service call may be
needed. – Turn the program se-
lector to “Stop”.
– Turn off the dishwasher
using the “On/Off” but-
ton.
After 5 seconds:
– Turn the dishwasher
back on.
–
Turn the program se-
lector to the desired
program.
– Press the “Start” but-
ton.
If the indicator lights flash
again:
– Call the Miele Techni-
cal Service Dept.
Knocking noise from
within the dishwasher.
The spray arm is hitting
an item in the basket. Interrupt the program and
rearrange items obstruct-
ing the spray arms.
Rattling from within the
dishwasher.
The dishes are moving
around inside the dish-
washer. Interrupt the program and
secure the items inside.
A whistling noise is
heard during the pro-
gram
The circulation pump seal
sometimes makes a whis-
tling noise. This may be
caused by the detergent. This is not a problem. Try
other detergents. Consult
the Miele Technical Ser-
vice Department if the
noise is persistent.
Knocking noise in the
water pipes
This may be caused by
the installation or the or
the piping. This has no affect on
dishwasher. If in doubt
contact a plumber.
