Fault with the AutoDos (automatic dispensing)
Problem
Possible cause and remedy
The following message
appears in the display:
Insert PowerDisk or
deactivate AutoDos with OK
The
AutoDos
function is active but no PowerDisk has
been inserted.
Insert a PowerDisk (see “Detergents - Automatic
dispensing/AutoDos”).
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using
OK
.
The alarm tone is
sounding.
The programme does
not start or a
programme that has
already started stops.
The following message
appears in the display:
AutoDos lid open
The AutoDos lid has not been closed properly.
Close the AutoDos lid and lock it fully (see
“Detergents - Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”).
If the lid cannot be fully closed, check whether the
PowerDisk holder is lying flat (see “Detergents -
Inserting a PowerDisk”).
If the same fault message appears again, call
Miele.
The following message
appears in the display:
PowerDisk empty.
Deactivate AutoDos with
OK.
The
AutoDos
function is active and the PowerDisk is
empty.
Replace the PowerDisk (see “Detergents -
Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”).
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using
OK
.
The message
PowerDisk empty.
Deactivate AutoDos with
OK.
appears in the
display even though you
have inserted a new
PowerDisk.
The dishwasher was switched off when the
PowerDisk was replaced and it has therefore not
recognised the new PowerDisk.
Switch the dishwasher on before replacing the
PowerDisk (see “Detergents - Automatic
dispensing/AutoDos” and “Inserting a
PowerDisk”).
